Am I required to have travel insurance for my Russian visa?
Yes, you are required to have travel insurance to be able to get your Russian visa. It is necessary in both cases, tourist & business visas.
GetRussianVisa.com will be happy to issue the travel insurance for you, once you fill out our online form. The travel insurance provided by GetRussianVisa.com is valid on the territory of all of the Russian Federation; it has a coverage of a minimum of 30,000 EUR (coverage of repatriation in case of death and medical services) and covers the entire duration of one’s visa.
What type of visa do I need?
For tourism purposes (traveling to cultural events, excursions, sightseeing) you must obtain Russian Tourist visa. Tourist visa is valid for a maximum period of 30 days and allows up to 2 entries into the country per term of such visa.
In case you plan to go to Russia and stay longer than 30 days or to cross Russia's border more often, then Russian Business visa is much more convenient and advisable. Russian Business visa allows multiple entries for the period of up to 2 years for business purposes (conduct negotiations, hold seminars, conferences or meetings with existing or potential business partners)
What is Russian Visa invitation?
Russian visa invitation is a special document provided by Russian company registered in the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators only. Such invitation contains two parts, the tourist voucher, and the confirmation. An example of visa invitation is provided in below for your convenience:
Do you provide Russian Visa invitation?
Yes, Visa Service LLC is registered by Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators and is eligible to provide Russian Visa invitations to its customers.
Can I use my own existing invitation?
Yes, you only will need to provide the following information during the booking process:
- The name of the Authorised organisation
- Address details of issuing organisation
- Reference number
- Confirmation number
Is it necessary for children to obtain Russian Visa?
Children under 16 years of age do not require such visa on the condition of being included in one of their parent’s passport and traveling with them.
