Visa-Free Entry to Russia in 2026
Russia has visa-free agreements with over 80 countries, allowing their citizens to enter without a visa for varying durations. This list is regularly updated as Russia continues to expand its visa-free program.
CIS Countries (Unlimited or 90 Days)
Citizens of most former Soviet republics enjoy visa-free access to Russia:
- Unlimited stay: Belarus
- 90 days within 180 days: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine
Latin America (90 Days)
Russia has visa-free agreements with most Latin American countries:
- Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela
Asia & Middle East
- China: Visa-free for up to 30 days (since August 2023)
- Turkey: 60 days within 90 days
- Thailand: 30 days
- UAE: 90 days
- Iran: 30 days (group tours)
- Israel: 90 days within 180 days
- South Korea: 60 days
- Mongolia: 30 days
Europe
- Serbia: 30 days
- Bosnia and Herzegovina: 30 days
- Montenegro: 30 days
- North Macedonia: 30 days
Note: Most EU countries, the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia are NOT visa-free. Citizens of these countries need either an e-visa or a traditional visa with an invitation.
E-Visa Eligible Countries
If your country is not visa-free but is on the e-visa list, you can apply for a Russian e-visa online. The e-visa allows a stay of up to 16 days and costs significantly less than a traditional visa. Over 50 countries are eligible, including most EU nations, China, India, Japan, and Turkey.
Notable exclusions from e-visa: USA, UK, Canada — citizens of these countries must apply for a traditional visa with an invitation.

- Fan ID holders: Extended visa-free access for holders of Fan IDs from major sporting events
- Free Port of Vladivostok: Simplified e-visa for visiting the Primorsky Krai region
- Kaliningrad: Special e-visa program for visiting the Kaliningrad region
