For short trips (up to 16 days), you can apply for a free e-visa online at evisa.kdmid.ru. No invitation needed. Processing takes 4 calendar days. For longer stays or multiple entries, you'll need a traditional visa with an invitation letter.

- Valid Chinese passport (6+ months validity after visa expiry, 2 blank pages)
- Visa invitation from a licensed Russian tour operator
- Completed visa application form (visa.kdmid.ru)
- Passport-sized photo (3.5×4.5cm, white background)
