Step-by-Step: How to Get a Russian Visa from Mexico

1

Check Your Visa Requirements

As a Mexican citizen, you may use the Russian e-visa for a stay of up to 30 days or review an ordinary visa route. Apply only through the official portal, which shows the current government fee.

2

Get Your Visa Invitation Letter

For an ordinary tourist visa, tourist confirmation is normally part of the supporting documents. Current price, payment methods and delivery estimate are shown before payment. Business-product availability must be checked by passport citizenship.

3

Complete the Visa Application Form

Fill out the official Russian visa application form at visa.kdmid.ru. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, accommodation info (from your invitation), and a passport-sized photo (3.5×4.5cm).

4

Submit Your Application

Submit your documents at Embassy of Russia, Mexico City. You can also use VFS Global visa centers where available. Processing takes 7–14 business days (standard), 3–5 days (express).

5

Receive Your Visa & Travel

Once approved, your visa sticker will be placed in your passport. Make sure to register within 7 business days of arrival in Russia (your hotel usually does this automatically).
